About
the Artist

Thanks
for your interest in my site! I
truly enjoy designing and the creative process!
I have been painting most of my life with my earliest memory being
painting with left over paints my grandmother gave me from a paint-by-number kit
when I was five.
I
have been married for 31 years to my biggest fan, Kenzil, and have 2 handsome
sons, Devin, 25, and Casey, 20, who recently married his Washington state
sweetheart, Melissa. Devin is a
seminary student who will be graduating in November with his degree in youth
ministry. Casey is in the Army and
is stationed at Ft. Lewis, Washington. Our
house is full of critters with two dogs, Molly & Zoe, and three cats, Mosey,
Cocoa & Mau-Mau and a pond full of fish.
I find great humor in pets and they are a constant source of laughs and
inspiration for new designs. Some
of my favorite past times are beading and baby sitting our grand dog, Ruby.
I
started selling finished items at craft shows in 1989 and began designing in
1995. My course of designing over
the years has resulted in 7 published tole books, a line of scrapbook papers,
multiple magazine projects and over 200 pattern packet designs.
I started exhibiting at The Heart of Ohio Tole convention in 1996, along
with other conventions across the country and currently still exhibit at Hoot.
I travel teach in various states at chapters and guilds, individually
owned shops and at chapter retreats. I
strive yearly for a minimum of 10 news designs, but frequently design more than
that, so please visit my site often to see what is new.
Thanks
again for visiting my site. I hope
you find my designs fun and the time you spent visiting my site enjoyable.
